    Cruising from Port Canaveral in May 2017, are there any hotels that offer a free shuttle service to the ship or is there parking at the ships dock?

    Thanks for stopping by for a visit with us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I am pleased to help with your cruise planning for a fantastic trip in May 2017. There are many hotels in Port Canaveral that offer a “Cruise and Park” type of promotion where a guest pays a special rate to leave their car at the hotel. These hotels then will offer a shuttle either at low cost or free depending on the package. I have not used any hotels in Port Canaveral simply because I cannot turn away from the opportunity to stay at a one of the hotels at the Walt Disney World Resort when I am so very close to Orlando. I typically will use Disney Ground Transportation for transfers to the cruise terminal, and any car you brought can stay on Disney property for free. If you prefer to stay in Port Canaveral, I suggest that you perform a Google search for “Hotels in Port Canaveral Offering Free Shuttles.” When I did this search, I came up with numerous hotels. If you choose to drive to the terminal, there is covered parking available that is safe and cost effective.
