We will be cruising in October on the Disney Dream. My daughter(4yrs) is hearing impaired. She has CI & uses speech/SEE sign to communicate. Will there be someone in the kids areas trained in sign?

Hi R! You will be happy to find out that children with special needs are welcome in Disney's Oceaneer Club. I would recommend filling out the medical forms and forwarding them to Disney Cruise Line as soon as possible. Upon boarding the beautiful Disney Dream, go to Deck 5 Midship to register your daughter in Disney's Oceaneer Club. When checking in, explain your daughter's needs to the counselors. Be sure to include all special considerations when filling out the final paperwork too. The staff in the children's areas will make every effort to accommodate your daughter's need. There are some counselors who know American sign language. They will be able to assist your daughter during her time in the kids' club. All counselors will strive to make activities magical and enjoyable for your daughter. Please rest assured that if a problem arises you will be contacted immediately. Parents are issued pagers for that very purpose. Your entire family will experience a fantastic cruise on the fabulous Disney Dream!
