    We will be cruising on our ninth DCL cruise this July out of Venice. I have booked the transfers but am wondering about transfer logistics from Marco Polo Airport with the water taxi and bus to the ship, keeping in mind I have an autistic teen. Thank you.

    I know you must be so excited about your upcoming Mediterranean cruise. With eight cruises under your belt, I'm sure you've made many magical memories aboard Disney Cruise Line!
    While I haven't yet had the pleasure of sailing out of Venice with Disney, I checked in with my fellow DCL Mom who has, as well as an agent with Disney Cruise Line, to get some specifics for your fabulous summer voyage.
    My fellow DCL Mom flew into Marco Polo Airport in Venice, Italy this summer, and she assured me the airport is very well-marked and quite easy to navigate. Since you've already booked your transfers through Disney, they'll take care of all the details and make it very easy for you.
    I spoke with a Disney Cruise Line agent today regarding specifics of how they'll be transferring Guests this summer. Guests will travel to the port by way of motor coach, mini bus, or taxi, depending on arrival time and party size. Since you've booked through Disney, the agent I spoke with encouraged me to have you call DCL at (800) 951-3532 one or two days before your vacation begins for more detailed information about which particular mode of transportation to expect upon your arrival.
    Maybe a fun idea would be to pack with your day bag with some Venice-related activities to keep your son occupied, engaged and immersed in the beauty of Venice as you travel from the airport to the ship!
