Ahoy there, Megan, and welcome to planDisney! It sounds like your trip is within sight, and pretty soon you'll be enjoying all that your Disney Cruise Line ship and
Disney Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point have to offer. Let's explore your
little one's water fun options.
I'm pleased to share with you that I chatted with a friendly Cast Member who confirmed that during open house only, little ones who aren't potty trained can play in Sebastian's Cove while wearing a swim diaper. Once you're on board and have your
Disney Cruise Line Navigator App set up for ship use, you'll be able to see all kids club open house hours, including Sebastian's Cove, by toggling to the day you want to check and browsing through that day's activities. I like to put hearts by everything I'm interested in, so I don't miss anything.
On board the ship, swim diapers are permitted in kids' wet play areas or splash zones only. Kids must be fully potty trained to play in the pools, hot tubs and other water features. I'm not sure which ship you are sailing on, but you'll be able to find a fun area for your little one to splash around on each of the ships. I linked some helpful information on traveling with little ones above, and you'll be able to find details there about where your child can play on your specific ship.
While you are out enjoying Disney Cruise Line's newest private destination, I recommend seeing RUSH! Junkanoo celebration, which is part parade, part street party, part performance and 100% fun! It's held at the Goombay Cultural Center, and you'll find the times in the Navigator app as well.
Megan, I hope you and your toddler have plenty of fun splashing around and that your cruise is amazing! If you have any other questions, please bring them back to us here at planDisney.
Have a magical cruise,
Melanie
