We will be cruising to the Mexican Riviera in March and are considering adding an extra day at Disneyland. Just wondering if the park is close to the port terminal? Is there long term parking and hotels close to the LA port? Thanks so much!!

    Hi, Tamara!

Congratulations on your upcoming cruise to the Mexican Riviera aboard the beautiful Disney Wonder!  My family and I sailed this itinerary in November, and we were wow-ed by the gorgeous scenery and delighted by the colorful ports of call.

We spent a day and a half at the Disneyland Resort prior to our voyage, and I highly recommend staying at one of the hotels there -- the Grand Californian, the Disneyland Hotel or Paradise Pier. You can book a pre- or post-cruise stay through Disney Cruise Line and your transportation back and forth, too. Although there are hotel options in the San Pedro area (and long-term parking, too) -- I enjoyed starting our Disney cruise by being at Disneyland and not having to worry about the details of getting to and from the port.

I hope this helps you plan, and if you have more questions, there will be two new Disney Cruise Moms who will be poised and ready to assist you beginning tomorrow! It's been an absolute joy to help you make your plans. Have a wonderful day and a magical vacation.

    Bon voyage and best wishes,

    Andi
