    Cruising march 2013. How is the weather in the bahamas and castaway cay? Is it warm enough to swim?

    Hi Lisa,

    The weather in the Bahamas in March is gorgeous!  The temperatures are in the 80s, the water is slightly chillier, but it feels great under the sun.  I love the weather in the Bahamas during that time of year.

    As for clothing, you know what you'd wear in beautiful 80 degree weather, shorts and t shirts, dresses, etc., but I will advise you that you should take a jacket or sweater for each person in your family.  The ship tends to get chilly in the evenings, and there have been many times when I have run back to my stateroom to grab a wrap especially if you want to walk on deck in the evenings.  It's windy out there!  I also check the weather before I go...weather.com is my favorite.
