Hi, We will be cruising on the Magic 4night to Bahamas on March 6th.Just wondering if this cruise has the Pirate Party & Fireworks. Also is there a formal night? Its our first DIsney Cruise. We are super excited!Just wanted some more info & any advic

    Welcome Aboard, Mimi!

Congratulations on your upcoming Disney Cruise on the awesome Disney Magic! March will be here before you know it, and you'll be sailing away for a magical adventure. I'm as excited as you are to know how much fun lies ahead for you and your sailing party!

You'll be happy to know that your four-night cruise will most certainly include Pirate Night - a swashbuckling celebration on the high seas! Your evening will begin with a pirate-themed dinner in one of the Main Dining venues, followed by the Pirates IN the Caribbean Deck Party. All of your favorite Disney Characters will be there, dressed as pirates and fair maidens. Watch out for Captain Hook - he might just try to take over the party! No worries - Hook and Mr. Smee are no match for Captain Mickey and his crew.

Last but not least, the grand finale of Pirate Night is the Buccaneer Blast fireworks display! It's an amazing sight to see the fireworks twinkle as they burst over the open water. Disney Cruise Line was the first cruise line in all the world to offer a pyrotechnic display while sailing the high seas!

On a four-night sailing, you won't have a "formal" night, instead you'll enjoy an optional dress-up night. You'll see guests in everything from sundresses to ball gowns, so you're welcome to dress up as much (or as little) as you like.  My family likes to take advantage of the photo opportunities on Dress-Up Night by visiting the talented onboard photographers in the Lobby Atrium on our way to and from dinner.

I hope this information is helpful! Please come back and visit us here at the Moms Panel if you have any more questions before your cruise.

    Have a magical day!  - Diane W.
