We are cruising on Magic next year. My children only drink water. Is the tap water drinkable on board or is bottled water the only option. They drink tap water at home. Thanks

    Ahoy Amanda –
Congratulations on your upcoming cruise on the Disney Magic next year! The Magic holds a special place in my heart as the ship that started it all – in fact my first cruise was on the Magic. I know your crew will enjoy the fine dining, beautiful ambience, amazing family fun and relaxation onboard. You will be pleased to know that all of the water from the tap and faucet is highly purified and super safe to drink.  Everyone is so concerned about bringing bottled water onboard, but truthfully, you do not need it.  Inside your stateroom is an ice bucket and glasses that are replenished twice daily so that you can enjoy the water straight from the tap. At your table service meal, the assistant server will fill your glasses with iced tap water that has a pleasant taste. There is mineral and premium water for dinner at an additional charge if you prefer. The only places you may decide to bring water would be for excursions away from the ship, especially because bottled water in the ports may be pricy. Our crew will often just refill a water bottle with tap and take it with us if needed. Amanda, thanks for asking such an important question here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel.
