Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Lindy!
I am so glad you sailed by with your question about your upcoming Disney Cruise Line vacation! Your littles are the perfect ages to love
EVERYTHING that a Disney Cruise has to offer – and you will LOVE seeing it through their eyes.
As a mom to two littles that are 13 short months apart, I can’t tell you how many times having a stroller has come in handy. Between getting from place onboard to exploring the ports of call we visit, our strollers have been a lifesaver! That being said, I highly recommend bringing two single strollers with you on board instead of a full-size double stroller. While you will find plenty of room in the common areas to navigate a larger stroller, the hallways leading to the staterooms tend to be narrower and are sometimes crowded by stateroom host carts. We have found it very convenient to have two umbrella sized strollers with us that we can easily collapse and store under the bed in the stateroom. We have even found ourselves asking our littles to hop out of the stroller when the elevators have longer waits and then we can easily carry the stroller up or down the stairs while our littles walk! One thing we have brought with us on our adventures is a connector that connects two umbrella strollers. That has come in handy when exploring on land or if someone needs two hands free!
When your Online Check-In window opens (75 days prior for first time Guests), be sure to register your littles for the onboard
Youth Clubs…the Oceaneer Club and Lab is reserved for Mouseketeers ages 3-12 and if yours are anything like mine, getting them to leave the Youth Clubs will be your biggest struggle!
Happy Sailing!
