Will be cruising in June. Will my husband need to pay more to get a massage on the ship? Are there places on the Islands to eat as part of the cruise menu or will we need to pay cash for lunch and dinner when at the Bahamas amd Castaway Cay? Thank you.

All spa services are extra. The Vista Spa and Salon offers many treatment options and a menu of services can be found here.

While at Castaway Cay, there will be refreshment stations near Cookie’s BBQ and the adults-only beach, Serenity Bay. At these stations, you’ll have access to complimentary soda, water, iced tea, hot tea, coffee, cocoa, lemonade and Hi-C fruit punch. These beverage stations remain open all day.

In addition, these two locations serve up a BBQ lunch buffet which is complimentary. Lunch may include items such as Garlic flatbread, Hot Dog, Cheeseburger, Mahi Mahi Sandwich, BBQ ribs, Corn on the Cob,Cookies, Ice Cream, Chips, Coleslaw, BBQ Chicken, Corn Bread, Baked Beans and Fruit.

Cash is not needed on Castaway Cay except for at the Post Office. Otherwise, you will use your Key to the World stateroom card to charge any purchases to your room account. Purchases may include shore excursions such as bike rentals, hair braiding, alcoholic beverages and gift store merchandise.

While in other ports such as Nassau, any meals off of the ship will be at your own expense. Some shore excursions include a meal. For example, my family went on the Atlantis Aquaventure tour which included a light lunch. We were given meal tickets to redeem from our choice of several poolside concession stands.

Of course, you can always return to the ship to enjoy complimentary food by timing your excursions between meals!
