Hi Kristin!
Oh boy! Your high seas adventure on the Disney Fantasy is only a few months away. And you’ll be traveling to my favorite island paradise in the Bahamas,
Castaway Cay. I can practically feel the sand between my toes and the sun on my shoulders when I picture this tropical oasis in my mind.
I love that you are getting primed to get a cabana on Castaway Cay. It's totally worth the effort to have that dedicated space on either the Castaway Family Beach or Serenity Bay Beach. As you are probably aware, priority for booking cabanas is given first to Concierge Guests, then open for booking at different stages for
Castaway Club levels Platinum, Gold, and Silver, and finally first time cruisers. Once your advance booking window opens at midnight, log in under “My Reservations” on the Disney Cruise Line website and then navigate to the "My Plans" page. Once you find your Castaway Cay day, if there are any cabanas available, they will be listed as a Port Adventure.
The Castaway Cay Cabanas (say that three times fast!) are very popular, so don’t be shocked if the option to book one does not show up on your reservation. But don’t give up either! Keep checking back for availability since guests have until three days prior to sailing to cancel. You should also stop by the
Port Adventures Desk once you are onboard to add your name to a wait list in the event a cabana becomes available during your sailing.
Sprinkling some pixie dust in your direction in the hopes that you can book a cabana for your upcoming sailing! Chart a course back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel for more help as you finalize your vacation plans.
SEA ya real soon!
Sherry
