We are cruising in Jan for 2016. We have 3 state rooms two of the staterooms have a returning guests (Castaway Club - Silver), and the third stateroom is all new cruisers. Will all of us be able to take advantage for the Castaway club offerings?

    Hi, Jenny!

Your cruise is right around the corner! I'm happy to hear that not only are you traveling with returning cruisers, but you'll be able to experience the magic of a Disney Cruise Line vacation through the eyes of first-time Guests. It's such fun to see the wonder in their eyes as they take it all in for the very first time.

Here's the official word from Disney Cruise Line about Castaway Club benefits:

"Silver, Gold or Platinum benefits are determined by the highest membership level Guest in a stateroom. Only one Guest in a stateroom party needs to be a Castaway Club Member for the entire stateroom party to be eligible for the associated benefits. However, benefits do not extend beyond the immediate stateroom party, so benefits associated with Guests traveling in other staterooms will be determined by the highest membership level Guest in each stateroom.

The Castaway Club pre-reservation booking window will open only at the individual Guest's stateroom level. Guests in other staterooms will need to wait until their pre-reservation booking window opens.
Pre-reservation booking windows open: First Time Guests - 75 days prior to sail date, Silver - 90 days prior to sail date, Gold - 105 days prior to sail date, Platinum - 120 days prior to sail date"

With a January sail date, you've probably already booked your Port Adventures, Adult-Exclusive dinners and Spa visits. Hopefully you were all able to coordinate your bookings, despite the difference in reservation booking windows. The other benefit that may affect you is Check-In at the port. My advice to you is to call your travel agent or DCL at 1-800-951-3532 to link your reservations together. When you arrive at the port, it should be fine for you to check in together.

I hope this helps with your planning. Have a magical vacation! - Diane W.
