Hi there, Alexandra!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I am so glad you sailed by with your question about your Disney Cruise Line vacation next year! While I definitely don’t experience the same kind of winter here in Texas that you do, I do always enjoy a beach vacation during the winter months! Nothing better than showing up at the airport in shorts and sandals while everyone else is all bundled up!
One of my favorite onboard activities is most definitely Pirate Night, including the fun
Pirates IN the Caribbean deck party! My boys always look forward to their Pirates League makeover at the
Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique where they are magically transformed into swashbuckling pirates ready to protect “the Mickey Boat” from enemy pirates. While completely optional, it is always fun for kids (and grown-ups!) to dress in pirate garb and with Halloween coming up this is the perfect time to pick up some costumes so you will be ready when vacation time gets here! While the onboard entertainment schedule won’t be finalized until closer to your vacation, and is always subject to change, having second seating should not interfere with the deck party! They usually schedule it for later in the evening – allowing Guests to attend the pirate-themed dinner and nightly entertainment in the Walt Disney Theatre before heading out to the deck for the fun and exciting celebration! And, if your specific voyage happens to have the late-night Pirate Buffet in Cabanas, you definitely don’t want to miss that!
If you haven’t yet, be sure to download the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app! You will find it useful now as you prepare for your adventure and then once onboard it will be where you will find a complete schedule of entertainment and activities, deck plans, menus and much more!
Happy Sailing!
Stephanie
