Welcome Aboard, Joshua!
Oh my goodness! I can feel your excitement just by reading your question, which makes me even
more excited to answer! I'm so thrilled that you chose to sail aboard the Disney Cruise Line for your 2 1/2 year-old's inaugural cruise. I remember how captivated my little skipper was with each feature aboard his first Disney Cruise Line adventure!
You are absolutely allowed to bring juice, bottled water and snacks onboard! However, each item must be unopened and packed inside your carry-on luggage in its original packaging. One thing my family likes to do is visit the
Gifts and Amenities page, on the Disney Cruise Line website, to purchase bottled water ahead of time and have it delivered to our stateroom. When we do this, our bottled water is waiting for us upon arrival and it allows for more room in our carry-on bags for my child's favorite pre-packaged snacks from home!
It is a fantastic idea to pack all of your little sea turtle's medications in your carry-on bag. This way, you'll have them with you in case they're needed upon embarkation. If your little one takes prescription medications, I recommend taking a couple extra day's worth onboard with you.
The Disney Cruise Line makes
traveling with infants and young children easy and so much fun! I can't wait for you to experience the awe and amazement in your little one's eyes from the moment you step onboard and they announce your family's name! It sounds like you're well on your way planning your first cruise as a family! If you have any other questions, please stop back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!
