Hello! We will be cruising for the first time EVER w/ DCL and are beyond excited! We will be on the Disney Dream 4/27/26- 5/2/26. Where can I find the list of activities that are available to book on the cruise beforehand? When is pirate night scheduled?

    Hi, Diana!

Thanks so much for reaching out with your question! I love chatting about all the fun things that Guests can enjoy while sailing on the Disney Cruise Line. Port Adventures and onboard activities are such a fun way to sprinkle a little extra magic into your vacation!

To start looking at what may be available, head to "Destinations" at the top of the Disney Cruise Line website and then scroll down to select Port Adventures. About halfway down this page, find "Port Adventures by Destination" to view the different areas. Since your itinerary includes stops in Nassau and Disney Castaway Cay, choose "Bahamas Port Adventures." At the top of that page, you can select Castaway Cay and/or Nassau. I like looking at each port separately so I can focus on what I want to do in that specific location. You can also filter the list by activity type, intensity level, accessibility needs, or budget.

You will find details about onboard offerings in a similar way. Visit the Onboard Activities page and choose "Disney Dream" from the ship menu. Many Guests love the Beverage Tastings (they are one of my personal favorites!). My family has also enjoyed special dining at Palo on past sailings, and my kids still talk about their magical transformations at Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique

Just keep in mind that not every activity is offered on every sailing, but these pages will give you a great overview of what might be available. I usually jot down my top three choices for each port and a couple of onboard activities for each day, just in case something fills up before my booking window opens. I do skip booking Port Adventures at Castaway Cay. It is my favorite tropical destination, so I love spending the day relaxing on the beach, splashing down the Pelican Plunge, and snorkeling in the beautiful, clear waters.

Since this is your first Disney Cruise, you will be able to make reservations 75 days before your sail date. Popular experiences, like Palo and Beverage Tastings, can book quickly, so it helps to have the Disney Cruise Line Navigator app open when your booking window begins. If something isn't available, don't give up! Cancellations happen, and you can also check with Guest Services once you are onboard to see if any additional spots have opened.

You can also view everything specific to your sailing by logging into your account on the Disney Cruise Line website. Under "Already Booked," select "My Reservations," and open "My Plans" to see your day-by-day itinerary. Choose a day and click "Add Activities" to browse and book activities as soon as your booking window opens.

As for Pirate Night, open the Navigator app during your booking window, and pull up your reservation under "My Plans." Head to the "Onboard Fun" section, and search for "Pirate-Themed Makeover." The day it appears is your Pirate Night!

Diana, I hope this information is helpful. Do not hesitate to contact planDisney again if you have more questions!

    Happy sailing!
