Welcome aboard, Mark -
The wonderful dining experiences on the Disney Cruise are surely meant to be savored. Both, Palo and Remy, are gastronomic meal experiences that are memorable and utterly pixie dusted. I totally agree with your plan of not missing the dining rotation at Animator's Palate. In fact, my husband and I found ourselves in that same situation at our last cruise a few months ago. Since this is Disney - they surely do aim to please! So, it never hurts to ask to make changes.
Once you embark, you will be assigned your nightly dining rotation at the 3 main restaurants. In the case where your night at Animator's Palate conflicts with your Adult Dining reservations, you can meet with the restaurant manager to make the changes to your existing reservations, or to your dining rotations. On the first afternoon on embarkation day, the restaurant managers will be set up to make these types of changes. Check with Guest Services on their location once you get on the ship. You will need to bring your Key To The World Cards with you. Just in case your dining rotations change, they will issue you and your family newly printed Key To The World Cards with the corrected restaurant rotations. The restaurant manager will also reconfirm your reservations at Palo and Remy, just to make sure that you've got everything covered and there are no other conflicts. This way, you don't have to miss any of these 3 restaurants to try!
The Magic really is in the details - check out this
new video from my fellow cruise mom, Marcy. How exciting that you'll soon be sailing with Captain Mickey on your magical voyage!
Bon voyage,
