    Cruising Dream on 2/6/11. What time is second seating dinner done? If we put kids in clubs after that how do they get them settled for bed? For example do they have cots for them, do we put on pj's before checking in, any other details on nighttime use?

    Hi, Greg!

    The second seating for dinner usually begins around 8:30 p.m. aboard the Disney Dream.  For families with young children, I usually make a couple of suggestions about dinner.

    You can order room service or feed the children a quick-service meal before the 6 p.m. show so that they enjoy the live theater when they are "fresh." Then, check them into the youth clubs between the show and dinner so that you can enjoy a leisurely dinner and perhaps a night out at The District as adults. Of course, this option also allows for you to dine at Palo or Remy with a reservation.

    Or, you can allow for the children to join you for dinner and simply ask your server to bring the children's meals during your appetizer. Once they're done, tell your server what you're doing, and you can excuse yourself to check the kids into the clubs while you linger over your entree and dessert.

    The youth clubs do have cribs, cots and nap mats available for children to sleep or to rest while they're watching a movie, and you can either suit them up in their PJs if you're feeding them dinner earlier or bring their PJs to change into for later. The kids clubs will also feed them a little snack should they get hungry later in the evening.
