Hi Jana!
Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I am so glad you sailed by with your questions about your upcoming
land and sea adventure and I am just so very excited for you and your family. So much magic awaits you and I am thrilled for you!
You will have no problem at all getting milk for your stateroom. Depending on when – and how often - you need it, I would recommend grabbing some cartons of milk from
Cabanas during breakfast and keeping it in your stateroom’s beverage cooler. Or you can get some from your dining room server at your nightly dinner service if you need it at night. You can even arrange for your dining room server to have it for you each night during dinner service to take back to your room with you. And, you can always contact the 24-hour Room Service and request some be delivered to your stateroom.
Ice cream is often available as a dessert during dinner service in the main dining rooms, but you can also get some delicious ice cream treats from
Vanellope’s Sweets & Treats, which is exclusive to the Disney Dream. There is an additional cost to purchase these treats, but they are certainly worth it!
And finally, when you visit Castaway Cay, you can venture back to the ship for lunch instead of eating on the island…although I must say, the barbecue lunch at Cookie’s on the island is one of my favorites! But there will be a variety of options available for lunch onboard that day as well!
Please come back with any other questions you have as your planning continues! It will be here before you know it!
