Ahoy, Jessica!
Welcome back to planDisney! Two weeks until you set sail on
the stunning Wish? You must be feeling like Cinderella right before the Royal Ball—except your carriage is a state-of-the-art ship, and the magic lasts well past midnight! I'm so excited for you and your crew to step aboard this enchanted vessel where every corridor holds a new surprise—and The Rose lounge is one of its most elegant gems.
Now, let’s talk attire! You’re absolutely right that swimwear is not recommended at The Rose, but aside from that,
there’s no strict dress code for this beautiful lounge. That said,
The Rose was definitely designed to be a more sophisticated, upscale space—it’s like the enchanted library of Belle’s dreams but with curated cocktails, vintage wines, and sweeping ocean views that will have you feeling like you’re in your own fairytale.
Since it’s located just outside
Palo Steakhouse and Enchanté, many Guests naturally find themselves enjoying a pre-dinner drink or lingering over a post-meal nightcap in their elevated evening wear. So while cruise casual is perfectly acceptable, this is one spot where dressing up just adds to the magic. Think dapper, dreamy, and Disney-chic! And if you’re looking for the ultimate photo op, capturing a picture with that iconic enchanted rose while you're dressed to the nines? Chef’s kiss. Extra sparkle if you go for a Beauty and the Beast–themed outfit—I mean, who doesn’t want to channel their inner Belle or Beast on the high seas?
You also don’t need a reservation or a dining booking at the adjacent restaurants to enjoy The Rose. So even if you’re just popping in for a quick sip of something special—like a glass of bubbly or a bold red to pair with sunset views—you’re more than welcome. It’s a great place to unwind, toast to your magical day, and soak in the ambiance.
I hope this helps as you prepare for your magical voyage aboard the Wish! If you think of any more questions before you set sail, feel free to sail back my way—after all, planDisney is always just a wish away.
Sea ya real soon as May brings sunshine, magical ports, and maybe a Mickey bar or two,
Dustin
