Hi there, Sara!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I am so excited to hEAR that you will soon be heading out on the high seas with Captain Mickey! I love all Disney Cruise Line ships, but the
Disney Magic is very special to my family as it was the first ship we sailed on six years ago!
On the morning you disembark, you have the option to enjoy a seated breakfast in a main dining room OR if you prefer, you can opt for a buffet breakfast in Cabanas. After the ship has been cleared by local Port Authorities, an announcement will be made that Guests can begin disembarking. Many Guests will opt to do “Express Walk Off” where they carry their luggage off or you can set your luggage out the night before (but don’t forget to keep those things you’ll need for that final morning!) and your luggage will be transferred to the port terminal for you to pick up once you’ve disembarked. Express Walk-Off typically begins around 7:30AM and those that choose to collect their luggage in the terminal will begin getting off usually around 8:00AM. They request that all Guests disembark by 9:00AM so that the incredible onboard Cast Members can begin preparing the ship for the Guests arriving later that day!
Disney Cruise Line recommends that Guests not book their departure flights prior to 11:30AM in the event there are any delays. And, from a previous experience where fog delayed us significantly, I highly recommend not trying to chance it with an early flight departure!
Wishing you a MAGICal and memorable adventure!
Happy Sailing!
Stephanie
