We are cruising on the Disney magic in December. We have three girls with ages ranges of 2 and a half, 7 and 11. Will my 2 1/2 year old be able to hang with the older girls in the oceaneers club?

    Hi there, Stevi!

Ahoy and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!  I am so excited to hEAR you have an upcoming Disney Cruise Line vacation planned!  My family’s very first Disney Cruise Line vacation was onboard the Disney Magic and we often find ourselves seeking out itineraries on the Disney Magic so we can go back “home”!  I am so thrilled for you and know you will make some incredibly special memories on your own holiday-themed voyage!

While a Disney Cruise Line vacation truly has something for every age, your girls are at the perfect ages to really enjoy everything awaiting you onboard.  They will love seeing all the characters and they will definitely enjoy the Youth Clubs.  My boys love spending time in the Oceaneer Club and Lab and we often struggle to get them to leave (hint, hint…chocolate chip cookies make the perfect bribe)!  Unfortunately, because of strict age requirements, your littlest Mouseketeer will not be able to visit the Oceaneer Club or Lab with her older sisters during secured programming, but, during Open House hours, Guests of all ages (grown-ups included) are invited into the spaces to play and explore together!  So, be sure to check the Navigator app for a complete schedule of Open House hours and you can all go in and play together!  Your older girls will love showing you and their little sister around their special place and they will often have scheduled activities that everyone can participate in – our family favorite being "Everybody Can Cook" where you get to make cookies or cupcakes!  Since your little one isn’t able to attend the Oceaneer Club during secured programming, be sure to utilize the onboard nursery for her…I think she will find it just as enjoyable – and a space just for HER!

As you continue planning for your adventure at sea, please come back with any other questions you may have and please say "hiya" to Captain Mickey for me!

    Happy Sailing!
