Hi there, Robert! Thank you for stopping by planDisney. It’s my pleasure to answer your very first question.
Very Merrytime Cruises are my favorite way to celebrate the holiday season! I can’t wait for you to step aboard the Disney Fantasy, see the three-deck tall Christmas tree, meet the characters in their seasonal best, and sample all the holiday treats. You might even catch the “Big Guy” himself checking over the nice list.
Apparently, pirates are not concerned about impressing Santa because they are set to take over the ship Tuesday night.
Pirate Night is a beloved Disney Cruise Line tradition that features a ship full of pirate-themed activities, a themed dinner menu, and a special fireworks celebration at sea. Some Guests go all out and wear full pirate costumes, while others wear a fun shirt or bandana. If you’re hoping to dress a bit fancier, you’ll have two opportunities.
Sunday night is formal night, and Thursday is semi-formal night. This is the perfect opportunity to snap your Christmas card photo. Stop by the atrium before dinner and view the available backdrops. They change each evening. Last year, they had a snowy scene that reminded me of winter in Florida – okay, just kidding. But it was a lovely winter backdrop to celebrate the season.
To find the photo spots and the holiday magic happening on your cruise, you will want to download the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app. The app will also list your dining rotation and the suggested attire each evening. Entertainment is subject to change, but the app will keep you in the know.
Robert, please point your sleigh in our direction if we can help with anything else. We are a jolly group pleased to offer our assistance.
SEAS the adventure!
