Hi there, Paula!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I am so glad you found us while planning for your upcoming sailing on the Disney Fantasy! Your family is certainly in for a wonderful time at sea; cruising with a group is so much fun because there is entertainment for all ages. You can do as much – or as little – as you want together, but still see one another throughout the day!
Disney Cruise Line does a phenomenal job at handling multiple
food allergies and intolerances for Guests onboard. I would suggest that you contact Disney Cruise Line at (800) 951 – 3532 to note your reservation that someone in your travel party has special dietary needs. Then once onboard visit with the head server and your main dining room servers to make arrangements for the needed requests to be handled. The chefs onboard are incredibly creative and can make every diner feel special and enjoy their meals all while adhering to their particular needs. I would suggest bringing on some snacks, but meals can be pre-ordered and arranged for main dining. Due to port regulations and international travel most countries do not allow fresh food to be brought onshore from the ship so Disney Cruise Line does not provide food to be taken ashore.
If your grandson is planning on attending the
Youth Clubs onboard, they will be alerted to his allergies as well and you can request meals to be sent there if he is going to be there during meal times. Coming from experience, they are very careful and handle allergies with the upmost care and concern for all Guests.
Wishing you a wonderful and magical sailing with many FANTASTic memories made!
Happy Sailing!
Stephanie
