We will be cruising on the Disney Dream with our 10 year old and 13 year old daughters. Is there a teen/tween hangout where they can be together?

    Ahoy Michael!

You guys are going to have such an incredible time on that gorgeous ship!  I'm jealous:)

There is a tween club onboard called Edge.  My kids are 11 and 14 and had a blast on the Dream's sister ship, the Disney Fantasy.  The ages were just changed to 11 through 14 which is great for you because you have a better chance of getting your 10 year old into Edge.  Here is what you should do when you arrive onboard.  Go to Edge and speak with the youth counselors.  Explain that you want to keep (or the kids want to stay) together.  I would even count how many months until the 10 year old turns 11!  I'm sure that you won't have a problem at all.  The counselors really want the kids and their parents to be happy.  If there is any way they can allow your 10 year old in, they definitely will.  Don't worry about this at all.  I'm positive that there won't be any issues.

I hope this helps.  Please let me know if you have any other questions, I'd love to help.  Thanks for visiting the Moms Panel.  Bon voyage Michael!

Magic Kingdom still takes my breath away, but my favorite place to be is on a Disney ship looking at the horizon and breathing in that crisp, clean ocean air!  I love planning Disney vacations for others and making sure it's more than they dreamed. Learn More About Marisol
