Hi there, Amber!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Your Dream vacation will be here SO SOON and I know you must be so excited to head off on a special
Halloween on the High Seas adventure! I love the special-themed sailings because of all the fun holiday décor and added activities onboard! Hopefully you are thinking ahead about some Halloween costumes – and certainly don’t forget your pirate gear for Pirate Night! SO MUCH FUN awaits you!!
Since each ship has a few variations and each stateroom might be a little different, I contacted Guest Services and confirmed that stateroom 7174 onboard the Disney Dream does in fact have the Murphy bed that comes down from the wall and the large porthole window! It also has the upper berth bunk bed that will pull down to make a third bed should you choose to use that. Since you have a one year old in your travel party, you may want to request a pack and play for the littlest Mouseketeer to sleep in! You can also request a diaper pail for your stateroom so that it is ready and waiting for you when you embark!
Be sure to register your kids or the onboard
Youth Clubs so that they can enjoy all the fun that awaits them in there! My boys love love love the Oceaneer Club and Lab and always look forward to spending as much time in there as I allow them to! Sometimes it’s a struggle to get them out of there and sometimes I relish the time to sit by the adult-only pool and read a book in peace!
Hopefully this information can help you adequately prepare for your upcoming Disney Cruise Line vacation! Wishing you and your family a magical adventure at sea making many fun memories!
Happy Sailing!
Stephanie
