Hi there, Lisa!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Your cruise to the Bahamas is just around the corner and before you know it, you will be
celebrating on deck with Captain Mickey and Friends as you head to sea for fun and adventure! I am so excited for you and know you must be giddy with excitement too! With so much to do onboard and at port, you are in for a magical vacation and will make memories that will last a lifetime!
When you disembark in Nassau, you will want to take your Key to the World Card and
another form of photo identification for the adults in your travel party. This can be your Passport or another form of government-issued photo identification. Personally, we do not take our passports off the ship (we leave them locked in the in-room safe), but do take a photo copy of them with us along with our driver’s licenses. Children do not need a form of photo identification, but do need their Key to the World Cards to disembark (although we always have a photo copy of their passports with us). Rules are always subject to change, so listen for any changes once onboard to the required documents needed to disembark as they will
always announce what you need to take off with you!
If this is your first Disney Cruise Line vacation, I recommend bringing with you some lanyards to carry your Key to the World Cards. These will be used throughout your time onboard to get into your stateroom, to make onboard purchases and also acts as your entry and exit card from the ship when you get to port! They are available for purchase in the onboard gift shops, but if you have some, go ahead and bring them with you!
Happy Sailing!
Stephanie
