Hi! We will be cruising on the Disney Dream in February with 2 year old twins. We have booked a deluxe stateroom with verandah. Do you think we will need two cribs for them to sleep? Would they be able to sleep together on the pull out couch?

    Hi Brady,

Welcome to the Moms Panel!  Congratulations on booking the Dream, we're sailing in June and I can't wait!

Unfortunately the the sofa converts to a twin bed, it's not a pull-out.  For this reason, I would probably opt to have two of the cribs in your stateroom.  They are the pack-in-play type, and will probably be the most comfortable for the little ones (and their parents that worry about them falling out of a twin bed).

Bed rails are available, however I found them to be somewhat "short" for my wiggly kids that rarely stay put during their sleep.  There is also an upper bunk (above the twin sofa), but I was not comfortable with my 5-year sleeping up there (he's a mover).

If you do go with the pack-n-plays, your stateroom host/hostess will set them up, and break them down each day.  When we sailed with little ones we actually requested that they leave them up during the day for naps - and they were more than happy to do so.

    Good luck, hope this helps!
