Ahoy, Michelle!
Thank you so much for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question.
As a professed musical theatre nerd, one of my favorite features of a Disney Cruise is the Broadway-style entertainment you'll enjoy each evening. The shows on the Disney ships are incredible, and the talent you'll see on stage is simply amazing!
The Disney Dream is home to
three live stage shows at this time:
1) Beauty and the Beast - This brand new Disney Cruise Line show combines talented performers and brilliant puppetry to tell the "tale as old as time" in a beautiful musical production.
2) The Golden Mickeys - This Hollywood-style awards show celebrates the best of Disney's movie magic, with songs and characters from your favorite Disney films. (My favorite is the performance of "Out There" from Disney's
The Hunchback of Notre Dame!) Moms Panel Tip: Make sure to show up early for the Red Carpet Pre-Show - you might just become part of the show!
3) Disney's Believe - This show tells the story of a father and daughter who reconnect through the power of Disney magic. Genie from Aladdin does his best to help Dr. Greenaway believe in magic and use his imagination (and has some hilarious pop-culture jokes sprinkled in along the way!). If you have a daughter, make sure to bring a tissue in your pocket - this one gets me every time!
The Disney Dream has three fabulously-themed Main Dining restaurants. With Disney's Rotational Dining, you'll get a chance to dine in each of the Main Dining venues at least once during your sailing. You'll be assigned a dining rotation when you check-in, which will be printed on your Key to the World Card. Your serving team even rotates with you!
I hope this helps with your planning. Have a magical day! - Diane W.
