    Cruising in Dec. 2015 and will be on Castaway one day. we have snorkel equip but no fins is that required to be able to snorkel?

    I'm excited to hear your December cruise is right around the corner! It won't be long until you're dancing on deck at your Sail Away Party, and setting sail with Captain Mickey and his awesome crew!

    It sounds like you're ready to take on the snorkeling lagoon located at the Family Beach at Disney Cruise Line's private island, Castaway Cay. The crystal blue water in the lagoon is the perfect place for snorkelers of all skill levels to check out the awesome marine life on the island. There's even a Hidden Mickey under the water!

    Guests are more than welcome to bring their own snorkel gear to use when visiting Castaway Cay. Flippers are not required, but you will be required to wear a life vest while snorkeling. Bright yellow life vests are provided free of charge at Gil's Fins and Boats or at Flippers & Floats.
