    Hi, we will be cruising to castaway cay on September and just wondering on the prices to rent a kayak or a water aqua trike and also, can we bring our own snorkeling gear?

    Thanks for cruising by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question. I love answering questions about my favorite place in all the world - Disney Cruise Line's private island, Castaway Cay!

    Castaway Cay is a beautiful port, with lots of fun things to see and do. Guests can visit the Boat Beach to rent a variety of boats and aqua rentals for splashtacular fun on the water.

    Pricing and rental options are as follows (please remember prices are subject to change):

    Aqua Trikes - $24

    Paddle Boats - $14 (two-seater), $18 (four-seater)

    Fun Kat Sailboats - $26

    Hobie Cat Sailboats - $27

    Sea Kayaks - $14 (one-seater), $18 (two-seater)

    Stand Up Paddle Boards are also available for rental - I think the rental cost for those is around $20.

    Watercraft rentals are for thirty minutes of use, and are first-come, first-serve at Castaway Cay's Boat Beach.

    You are more than welcome to bring your own snorkeling gear to the island. If you bring your own, please be aware that you'll be required to wear a life vest while snorkeling in the lagoon off Castaway Family Beach. Bright yellow life vests are available at Gil's Fins and Boats or at Flippers & Floats. The vests are thin, and you can inflate them to your comfort level. I've found the vests to be very comfortable when I've snorkeled there!
