Ahoy there, Gabrielle! Your Disney Cruise vacation is just a few weeks away, so I’m glad you stopped by planDisney with your question before departing.
I’m happy to share that at this time, these are the first-run films you can expect to find onboard:
- Inside Out 2 (PG)
- Deadpool & Wolverine (R-17)
- Elemental (PG)
- Moana 2 (PG)
- Mufasa: The Lion King (PG)
- Captain America: Brave New World (PG-13)
- Magic of Disney Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point (PG)
- Snow White (Live Action) (PG)
Keep in mind, entertainment is always subject to change and Guests under 17 must be accompanied by a guardian 21 or older who remains in the theater with them throughout the entire film for R-rated features (like Deadpool & Wolverine).
Did you see that the new live-action Snow White will be premiering on certain ships starting on March 21? I can’t wait to watch it, so I think it’s so cool that you might get to see it while at sea! Make sure to download the free
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app before your trip so you have all the showtimes at your fingertips.
Even if you decide not to watch a movie your first night onboard, I suggest purchasing a refillable popcorn bucket so you can enjoy affordable refills throughout your vacation, especially during the Broadway-style shows in the Walt Disney Theatre. My
planDisney panelist pal Dustin is sailing right now and sent me a picture of some of the new souvenir popcorn buckets available, including the Death Star and a spring-themed bunny bucket!
Speaking of spring, what a wonderful time of year to cruise with Disney. If any other questions come to mind before you set sail, I hope you’ll hop on back to us here at
planDisney!
Embrace the magic,
Sami
