    we are going to be cruising to the Bahamas upon the Wonder in September with our 9 year old Grandson. We were wondering if lunch is provided the first day upon boarding the ship or if we should eat lunch prior to arrival. Thanks.

    Hi Patricia,

    Save your pennies!  Lunch is provided as soon as the boarding process commences.  This is typically served in Parrot Cay (deck 3 aft) and the Beach Blanket Buffet (deck 9 aft).  This is always the first place we go once we board the ship.

    Personally, I prefer Parrot Cay - they seat you at a table, serve you drinks and you can go to their buffet at your leisure.  Beach Blanket Buffet is more of a cafeteria style, where you get your own drinks and can sometimes have to wander around a bit to find an open table.
