Hi Jenna!
Celebrating a holiday during a Disney Cruise Line vacation is so much fun. In 2012, my family rang in the New Year on a Disney cruise ship, and this year we were onboard the Disney Fantasy for Thanksgiving. Nothing makes holidays more magical than spending them with your family on a Disney Cruise!
While I haven't heard any specifics about special Easter offerings on your sailing, you can rest assured that Disney Cruise Line will celebrate the holiday onboard. In past years, little cruisers have enjoyed Easter-themed craft activities and face painting, and guests could purchase holiday-themed merchandise onboard. Religious services will be held, typically a Catholic Mass and an Interdenominational service, for guests who would like to attend. On our Thanksgiving cruise, we were able to get photos with Mickey and Minnie Mouse in pilgrim costumes, so it's possible they might have special Easter outfits as well!
Each day, you'll receive a Personal Navigator, a detailed daily schedule. Your Navigator will tell you times and locations for all the fun activities and events happening on the ship. I encourage you to check the schedule for any special Easter holiday offerings.
To stay up-to-date with news and announcements about upcoming cruises, the
Disney Cruise Line page on the Disney Parks Blog is a great source of information. Keep your EARs open for any news about Easter onboard!
Have a magical day! - Diane W.
