I will be cruising in April 2015. My child is 7. When the children are in the camps are they provided with food or swimming or is the parents responsibility?

    Welcome aboard, Anjela!

How exciting to hear that you and your family will be cruising to the Bahamas in just a few more months. You will have an amazing time, and your kids will love spending their days (and evenings) in the awesome Youth Clubs onboard the Disney Dream. The youth counselors at the Oceaneer Club make every effort to make it a lot of fun for the kids, and you'll see that, since the kids just never want to leave. Your kids will have lots of stories to tell you at dinner time or when you get back into your stateroom. It's all a great adventure for everyone!

Kids can spend the day at the youth clubs and they can join their friends to enjoy their meals there too. The youth counselors can give you an idea of the schedule for each day and when they take kids out to eat. Activities change on a daily basis, and that's another reason for the kids to never want to miss anytime away from the clubs. If my kids had it their way - they would choose to spend all day and all night at the youth clubs! The parents really do get a chance to enjoy their vacation too... date night can be every night when you're on a Disney Cruise vacation!

The Personal Navigator is a handy daily newsletter that gives you an idea of the different activities happening on each day. It gets delivered to your state room each night. There is also a Personal Navigator App available and you can download it if you have a smart phone. You'll have information at your fingertips while you are onboard.

Let us know if you have additional questions as you prepare for your magical voyage, Anjela! We're always glad to help!
