On you cruises, we have a shore day, do we have to get off the boat or can stay on and hangout?

    Hi Erin,

Welcome back to planDisney and thank you so much for asking us another great question about your upcoming Disney Cruise Line voyage.

I’ll admit that part of the reason why we keep cruising with Disney rather than with some other cruise lines is because of how fabulous the ships are! While visiting new ports and going on exciting Port Adventures is always a blast, we often enjoy taking a day out of our vacation to just relax and enjoy the ship’s amenities and activities, rather than going onshore.

Because of this, I’m happy to say that yes, you can absolutely choose not to go ashore and just stay onboard for the whole day! That said, please note that some activities and dining options may not be available on “shore” days and may only be exclusive to sea days, such as Brunch at Palo. Be sure to download your Disney Cruise Line Navigator App before heading to the ship – you’ll be able to use it to check out all of the activities taking place throughout your cruise.

Please don’t hesitate to come back and see us if you have any other questions. We’re always so happy to help!

    Have a Magical Day,

    Lynne
