Do all cruises require you to have a passport?

    Ahoy, Kay!

You pose a great question, and one that I've been asked often. Guests are responsible for obtaining proper documentation to board any Disney Cruise Line (DCL) ship -- since all sail in international water and an unexpected dock at a foreign port is not out of the question.  United States Government passport requirements continue to change. Therefore, DCL strongly encourages guests of all ages to have a valid U.S. passport for all cruises. Having a passport allows you to always be prepared to travel wherever you wish and offers an added measure of security when you're traveling.

Please visit the U.S. Department of State website at www.travel.state.gov or call the U.S. National Passport Information Center at 877-4USA-PPT for the most current requirements. To learn about the required documents you will need in order to board the ship, please visit Travel Documentation Information.

I hope this helps you plan. Have a wonderful day and a magical vacation. Bon voyage!
