Do the cruises still leave on Sunday? Also do you still have the option of cruise and stay at a hotel?

    Ahoy Karen!

Thanks for cruising into planDisney!  I love the excitement of finding the perfect cruise vacation and often check sailing dates as I daydream of the sand between my toes on Disney Castaway Cay!

Karen, cruise itineraries are currently available through May 2025.  Depending on which port you are planning to leave from, you'll find a variety of itinerary lengths and departure days.  I see that you are hoping to sail in November and, in a quick search of Florida ports, I was only able to find one cruise departing that month on a Sunday - a 6-Night Very Merrytime Bahamian Cruise from Port Canaveral with 2 Stops at Disney Castaway Cay.  You can search for cruises by month, destination, and/or departure port to help find the date and itinerary that is practically perfect in every way for your vacation!

I love extending my trip with a pre- or post-cruise hotel stay!  If you're sailing from Port Canaveral, a stay at a Disney Resorts Collection hotel is a wonderful way to add an extra pinch of pixie dust.  Previously, my family stayed at Disney's Contemporary Resort and spent three days visiting the parks after a week on the Disney Fantasy - it's still one of my favorite vacations!  If you aren't able to spend any time in the parks, you'll still find plenty to do like maybe a round of miniature golf, a dinner at Ale & Compass Restaurant, and watching fireworks from EPCOT as you stroll Disney's BoardWalk.  To add a hotel stay and arrange ground transportation, you can call Disney Cruise Line or contact your travel agent!

When you're looking at November sailing dates, you'll notice many Very Merrytime Cruises available.  I was able to enjoy my first Very Merrytime sailing this past year on the Disney Dream and fell in love with the seasonal entertainment like the tree-lighting ceremony and holiday deck party.  I even had the chance to see Santa and Mrs. Claus onboard!  There are also beautiful decorations and festive food offerings - such as the Cookies and Cocoa drink that was available at Cove Cafe.  I think it may be the most wonderful time of the year to sail!

Karen, I hope that this helps as you start planning for a magical time at sea!  Please feel free to visit us again here at planDisney with any other vacation planning questions - we're all ears!

    Happy Sailing!
