Ahoy, Merle! Thanks for sailing over to planDisney with your Disney Cruise Line question.
As you know, there are no
Hawaiian sailings being offered at this time, but the good news is that they are expected to make a comeback. Disney Cruise Line had been offering South Pacific cruises aboard the Disney Wonder, but it was announced that the 2025-2026 itineraries scheduled through February 2026 would be the farewell season for those Australia and New Zealand cruises for now. The Hawaiian cruises were also aboard the
Disney Wonder and were scheduled at the end of those South Pacific sailings before the ship headed up to Vancouver. However, I spoke with a cast member and confirmed that the farewell announcement was specific to Australia and New Zealand only, so Hawaiian cruises are expected to return.
At the moment, Disney Cruise Line has only announced itineraries through
Summer 2027, but we expect that both the Fall 2027 and Spring 2028 itineraries will be released at the end of this summer. Fingers crossed that Hawaii will be one of the cruise destinations included in that announcement. Remember that you can always find the most up-to-date information on the Disney Cruise Line
website, but you can also
sign up to receive email updates directly. I definitely recommend signing up for the emails because you will get the latest news, including itinerary announcements, sent right to your inbox.
If you are interested in a Hawaiian vacation with a touch of Disney magic and do not want to wait for Disney Cruise Line to add Hawaiian itineraries again, then be sure to check out
Aulani, A Disney Resort & Spa in Ko Olina, Hawai‘i. It is a Disney destination like no other and features a gorgeous blue lagoon with several different recreation opportunities.
Keep watching those itinerary announcements and hopefully Hawaiian sailings will be making their return very soon. If you have any other questions about planning the perfect Disney vacation, then our planDisney experts can help you whether you choose to explore on land or at sea. Happy sailing!
