Ahoy, Valerie!
Welcome back to planDisney! With your countdown nearly dipping below 30 days, I can already hear the horns playing “A Dream is a Wish Your Heart Makes!” It sounds like you have an Enchanted guest joining your crew—someone who could give Maximus a run for his height! Let’s help your towering traveler feel right at home on the high seas.
On the Dream, most staterooms—including those with Oceanview Verandahs—have ceilings that measure in around 7 feet tall. So while your 7’9” cruiser will absolutely feel the magic, they might need to channel a little Alice-in-Wonderland-growing-up-too-fast energy when navigating those cozy staterooms.
When it comes to the verandahs, height can vary slightly depending on your deck and stateroom location, especially in aft-facing verandahs or certain higher decks. Some verandahs may offer only a few extra inches of clearance while others offer more, but for a Guest approaching 8 feet tall, it’s still going to be a head-in-the-clouds experience.
Now, if you're looking for maximum vertical magic, the crown jewel onboard is the
Concierge Dream Tower Suite. This stunning 2-story suite is located in the forward funnel and features soaring ceilings in the main living area—making it the Mount Olympus of staterooms for those who need a little extra headroom. It’s beautifully themed to Sorcerer’s Apprentice Mickey, and stepping inside feels like being swept into the magic of Fantasia, complete with grandeur and space to spare.
Outside of this suite, the rest of the ship’s accommodations—including concierge rooms—stick to that approximate 7-foot height. So while your taller-than-Goofy cruiser may need to duck here and there, the open decks, lounges, and public spaces will offer plenty of room to stand tall and soak in the magic.
I hope this helps you
chart the best course for your magical voyage! If you’d like help choosing the perfect stateroom or have more planning questions, you know where to find me. I’m always happy to help Guests find their dream-worthy fit onboard.
Sea ya real soon with a June full of sun, sea, and shipshape adventures,
Dustin
