    We have cruised before and looking at cruising again Jan 2017 We are looking at cruising from Galveston, do they ever offer kids sail free? If we have already booked would we be able to switch to kids sail free after the fact? Thanks!

    Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! We absolutely love to help guests plan for their trips, and thank you so much for sharing your plans here!  As a native Texan, I have taken many Disney Cruises out of Galveston, including the Kids Sail Free Offer.  It was a big money saver for my family since we saved on cruise fare and we did not have to buy plane tickets! I believe the last time we were able to take advantage of that deal was in 2013 and I have not seen it since then. However, there often sales that occur and yes, you can take advantage of a sale when it does.
    By cruising in January, you will save money because as long as you do not sail during a holiday, usually the fares are relatively low compared with summer. With Disney Cruise Line, it is better to book your cruise early because rooms can sell out and prices sometimes can increase if you wait too long. After you have booked, if you see a sale, then you can rebook your cruise using the new rate after canceling your old booking.  I recommend using a travel agent if you are planning to book and rebook as this is easier for them to do. Also a travel agent will not mind watching the rates for sales on your behalf and can quickly convert your booking for you.
    I make it a point to visit the Special Offer section at least once a month to see if something new shows up, and you can also follow the Disney Parks Blog which will announce sales too.
