Ahoy there, Jacob! Your cruise is quickly approaching on the horizon. Thank you for stopping by planDisney first.
The laws regarding child restraints differ from state to state in the US and can be found through an internet search. I do have some alternate suggestions, though! The Miami International Airport lists some private transfer services, like a private town car, that offer car seats that you can look into. You can also find some options through an internet search that includes user reviews. My planDisney pal
Tracie purchased a foldable travel booster seat when her son was younger to travel with. Depending on traffic, it will take just under an hour to get from the Miami International Airport to Port Everglades in
Fort Lauderdale, Florida, by car. The rapid rail service Brightline will also take you from Miami to Fort Lauderdale, but not directly to Port Everglades, so you would still need to transfer to the port.
Jacob, with a little faith, trust, and pixie dust, I know you will find the right solution for you and your family. Don't forget to download the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app prior to boarding your ship. Once you are onboard and connected to the
DCL-GUEST wireless network, this app will be your map for all
onboard activities and your
rotational dining schedule and menus.
If you have any questions, sail back by
planDisney. We are happy to help!
Bon Voyage!
