Ahoy Rebecca!
Oh boy, do you have some fun on the horizon? A
Disney Magic at Sea voyage is sure to be action-packed and filled with a flurry of entertainment. Nothing is more exciting than introducing a toddler to the amazing sights and sounds onboard and at sea.
I wanted to get you an answer really fast because you will be boarding for your cruise in a little over a week. And you have a little legwork to do before your UK sailing because your 2-year-old must have a negative COVID-19 test result taken between 5 days and 24 hours prior to the date you set sail. You can either have the PCR test performed by any qualified private testing provider or you may purchase a PCR testing kit directly from Project Screen by Prenetics (£71 per kit). You’ll definitely need
this link for the Project Screen by Prenetics website to order a testing kit or upload your results from a qualified private testing provider beginning 33 days prior to sailing. All of these specifics for your Disney Magic at Sea itinerary are outlined in this great
Know Before You Go section on Disney Cruise Line's website.
I’m sure you know this part already, but all Guests, regardless of age and vaccination status, are required to undergo an antigen COVID-19 rapid test in the terminal prior to boarding. Anyone testing positive will take a second test to verify the results. Be aware that the costs for all tests at the terminal will be paid for by Disney Cruise Line. Just outlining all the testing protocols for you so there are no surprises!
Once you have all that preliminary testing out of the way and finally get to board, I hope you are pixie dusted with a truly MAGICal experience for you and your family! Have a fabulous time!
