1st cruise 12/5/14-12/8/14. Staying at Pop before the cruise. Taking disney bus to port. What is done with the luggage from hotel to port? Also what is done with luggage when leaving the boat and getting it to the airport by disney transportation?

    Ahoy, Kristin!
Congratulations on booking your first cruise with Disney Cruise Line. You've planned my favorite kind of vacation - a Land and Sea adventure! There's nothing better than going from Cinderella Castle to sand castles, all in one fun experience. What an awesome winter getaway!

I'm glad to see you've booked your transfers with Disney, it makes for a seamless transition from land to sea and back again. On the night before your sailing, you'll receive a letter in your room with information regarding your ground transfers to the port. You'll be given a time to expect luggage pickup from your stateroom (usually around 8am). No need to lug your bags all the way to the lobby! Simply put the DCL luggage tags (provided with your cruise documents) on your bags, and the Bell Services Team will do the rest. You'll meet up with your bags once you board the ship and head to your stateroom.

Remember to pack a day bag to carry with you with photo I.D., proof of citizenship, cruise documentation and medication. We also carry on our swimsuits in case we want a quick dip in the pool before the Sail Away Party!

With Onboard Airline Check-In, you'll be given instructions the night before debarkation. You'll enjoy the ease and convenience of not having to collect your luggage when you debark - checked luggage will be transported directly from the ship to your flight. You'll receive boarding passes and valet luggage tags on the last night of your cruise, along with a letter fully explaining the process. Tag your luggage and place it outside your stateroom, and it will magically meet you when you arrive at your destination! How easy is that? Disney takes care of all the details.

Please let us know if you have further questions as you plan your magical vacation! -Diane W.
