After a cruise , I want to stay at Disney for 3 nights with my DD2 and DS12. My son wants to stay at the Animal Kingdom Lodge, but I am worried with the short stay we might need to stay some where closer like the Contemporary or Wilderness. Opinions?

Hi, Monica! Yes, I agree with you. Especially with a little one still in a stroller, I recommend staying at The Contemporary or Wilderness Lodge (with a slight edge to a tower room at The Contemporary, MK view). It seems to me that with your age children, you may want to concentrate your short stay at the Magic Kingdom, and there's nothing more convenient to that park than The Contemporary. We recently stayed at the Animal Kingdom Lodge, and I love that resort for many reasons (most especially the animals). Yet, it is more suited for a longer stay when you can spend a good deal of time in your room enjoying the animals and at Animal Kingdom park.  Tell your son that another mom backs up your reasoning! Have a wonderful day and a magical vacation!
