We cruise soon and will be taking our 9 month old! What are the guidelines for bringing formula cans and baby distilled water? TIA:)

    Hello, Cryselda!

Welcome to planDisney! Taking an infant on a Disney Cruise can be such a magical adventure! I still remember my youngest child’s first sailing. My child was absolutely captivated by everything on the ship, especially the Disney Characters!

We need to make sure your little one has everything they need to enjoy their cruise! Guests may bring unopened infant formula cans and other nonperishable food as long as they are in their original factory‑sealed packaging. Just keep in mind that these items must either be used during the sailing or remain unopened when you return to the home port. Unopened water bottles in their original packaging are also allowed, and they need to be packed in your carry‑on luggage.

Disney Cruise Line makes traveling with little ones feel wonderfully easy! Your stateroom host can usually provide helpful baby essentials like diaper‑disposal units, bottle warmers, and bottle sterilizers, depending on availability. When my youngest child was tiny, we also requested a playpen to use for sleeping, and it worked beautifully throughout the cruise. And if something gets left behind at home, the onboard shops carry handy items such as diapers, pacifiers, baby food, and more, so you’re never far from what you need!

If you think you may want to explore some of the adults-only areas of the ship at any point, I recommend checking out "it's a small world" nursery! This adorable childcare center is available for an additional fee and is staffed with the sweetest Disney counselors who know just how to keep little ones happy and entertained. Reservations are offered on a first-come, first-served basis during the open house on the day you board your cruise, and you can also make reservations throughout the length of your cruise, if spots are available.

Cryselda, have a wonderful voyage on your Disney Cruise! Please stop by planDisney again if you have other questions!

    Happy sailing!
