Cruise ship returns to Port Canaveral at 7:00 AM - renting a car & heading straight to EPCOT! Package stay at POR, need to pickup park tix & return car to Avis that day (heard they have a return near DTD?). What's slickest route/plan to get to EPCO

    Hi Tami!

How fun that you're headed straight to Walt Disney World after your cruise!

To the best of my knowledge, I believe your best return option for your rental car is the Avis desk located within the Hilton near Downtown Disney. You'll want to double check that information when you pick up your rental as I'm sure they'll be able to give you the best, most up to date information.

In order to get the most out of your day, while accomplishing all that you need to do, here's my best suggestion. From Port Canaveral, head straight to your Port Orleans Resort and get checked in and settled. At this time, you can even purchase your park tickets and have them added onto your Key to the World Cards. If your resort room is not yet ready, Bell Services will be happy to hold onto your luggage for you so that you can head straight out to start enjoying the magic! You can arrange to have the front desk send you a text message to let you know the moment your room is ready.

Head to your rental return location and settle up, prior to taking the short walk to Downtown Disney. At Guest Services here, you'll be able to pick up your park tickets if you prefer - and maybe fit in a bit of time to enjoy a bit of shopping or lunch before heading to Epcot. Simply board a bus and you'll be off, with worry-free, complimentary transportation provided to you for the duration of your stay!

Should you prefer to pop back to your resort to freshen up and get into your resort room prior to heading to Epcot, simply jump on a boat at Downtown Disney headed to Disney's Port Orleans Resort. Bus service is available directly to Epcot from your resort.

Wishing you a simply Magical time at Walt Disney World Tami!
