Never been on a cruise before and we are set to sail aboard the dream in June! When you say all ashore is at 8:30 and all aboard at 4:30 does that imply you can go any time after 8:30 and return anytime before 4:30? Never been on a cruise

    Hi Eleanore!

You are going to love sailing with Disney Cruise Line!  I can't imagine sailing without Captain Mickey at the helm!

Each evening you will receive a Personal Navigator in your room during turndown service.  The Personal Navigator is the cruise line's daily newsletter.  It will give you all of the activities, meet and greets, movie listings, etc. that are scheduled for the following day.  If you are arriving at a port of call the following morning, it will also list the earliest time you can get off the ship to enjoy the port, and the time in which all Guests need to be back onboard.  You can get off/on the ship as many times as you'd like in a port, but remember to always have your Key to the World card AND a government issued photo ID when you do.

Come back and visit me if you have any other questions Eleanore.  I love to help my first time Disney cruisers!

Magic Kingdom still takes my breath away, but my favorite place to be is on a Disney ship looking at the horizon and breathing in that crisp, clean ocean air!  I love planning Disney vacations for others and making sure it's more than they dreamed. Learn More About Marisol
