Ahoy Alyse!
What a DREAM to have a rebooked cruise with Captain Mickey on the calendar. I’m so happy for you and your family to experience
all the magic of a Disney cruise. “What would I give to spend a day warm on the sand” of
Castaway Cay. (Hey, I’m just channeling my inner Ariel.) Disney’s private island is SHORE to keep you and your crew busy, whether exploring the island or chillaxing on a lounge chair on the beach.
Kudos to you for wanting to make the cruise extra special with some surprises from
Onboard Gifts. If you already had those “whosits and whatsits galore” all lined up for your earlier sailing, you will need to make new arrangements for those gifts for your rebooked reservation. If you had already placed the order with Onboard Gifts and the cruise got cancelled, you would have automatically received a refund. If you didn’t yet have that ironed out, then you can do that from now up until 3 days prior to your sail date (and up to 7 days prior for cakes).
The easiest way to check your reservation to see what was possibly transferred from the original booking is to
contact Disney Cruise Line. Using your reservation number, a Cast Member will be best able to answer this as it will be specific to your booking. For example, if you had not made your payment in full, then there would be nothing prepaid to transfer to a new reservation. Since the details are really unique to your reservation, it’s best just to call and let them answer your question.
I wish planDisney had a SHELL phone you could call us on for more questions! Even so, just use a computer to send more questions our way. No "dinglehopper" required! It makes us feel like a “part of your world” as you get closer to that magical Disney cruise. Hope you pull off the surprise and have fun in the sun on Castaway Cay.
Happy Sailing!
Sherry
