Welcome to planDisney Ashley!
I was on a
Halloween on the High Seas cruise last fall. While there is plenty of spooky fun to participate in if you desire, it is also not a problem to avoid it.
In the lobby, there here are decorations around, but nothing over the top. It was more seasonally fall-festive then scary. There was a deck party one night with dancing and Halloween themed music. This one is easy to avoid - Go enjoy a Broadway style show, catch a movie, or find a trivia or BINGO game.
During the cruise, you will see Disney characters as well as passengers dressed in their Halloween costumes the night of Mickey's Mouse-querade party. If you want to avoid this night all together, bring a game or puzzle for your room and order complimentary
room service. Regardless of Halloween, this is kind of a fun way to enjoy one night of your cruise!
Once you have boarded your Disney Cruise, check out the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app. You will see activities listed with their times and locations. Make note of the ones you would like to participate in and the ones you prefer to avoid. A simple mention to your service team in the dining room would probably be a good idea just to let them know you do not celebrate the holiday in case any special treats are served.
Wishing you a magical October sailing on a Disney Cruise Line adventure. Captain Mickey and his crew can't wait to SEA you real soon!
