Hello, for a cruise, I plan to bring fully sealed "gourmet bottled dried fish." This is not for consumption on the ship; I only have to keep it in my luggage until I can gift it to someone after the cruise. Will I be allowed to bring it on board?

Hello, Rodrigo, and welcome to planDisney!

I'm glad you stopped by with your question. How exciting that you're planning a Disney Cruise Line vacation. I'm already dreaming about where Disney Cruise Line can take me in 2024. No matter your destination, I know you'll have a Magical sailing. And... it sounds like you are hoping to make someone else's day Magical with a special gift from home, so let's dive into your question.

Rodrigo, as you are packing your suitcase and considering what gifts you can bring to hand out, make sure to visit the Prohibited Items page on the Disney Cruise Line website. In terms of food, the current policy reads that you are welcome to bring "Nonperishable snack foods in original factory-sealed packaging. All items must either be consumed prior to returning to your home port or remain unopened."

If you have any additional questions, feel free to come on back to planDisney. We love to see a returning guest!
